A Family Affair

In 1997, John Skyrms, Melissa's step-father, opened your Neenah Great Harvest.  Seven years later, you welcomed our family in.  We both wanted to work in a family friendly business where our kids could be a part of the action.  John gave us the opportunity to run your Neenah Great Harvest as our own, so we quit our jobs and dove in.  Just two years later, we purchased the bakery from John.  Now, with the help of our son, Carson, and daughter, Amara, and much of our family and friends, we have opened our second Great Harvest; this one in Appleton.  Thanks for supporting us and giving us the opportunity to have two Great Harvests with fun atmospheres, healthy breads, yummy sweets, and amazing sandwiches.

Your Neenah  and Appleton Great Harvests looks like no other Great Harvest out there. We operate under a “Freedom Franchise.” The “Freedom” part means that we get to run our business in a way that meets our community’s unique needs. The “Franchise” part gives us access to the recipes and processes that Great Harvest has continuously improved for over two decades. The result is breads and sweets that will knock your socks off!
